Frequently asked questions (FAQ's)
- How does your whole process work?
Orders are processed within 1–2 working days after payment received.
We place our orders every Thursday & Friday (should we need the stock), and it gets sent to us on a Monday or Tuesday, to be received no later than Wednesday.
Upon receiving the livestock, we place all livestock in our quarantine tanks until the next Monday, when we send it out to the client. This way we are sure no livestock, or any stock for that matter, will sit in the courier company's warehouse over a weekend.
This is also our way of checking on any livestock, making sure that when we send them off, you will receive good products.Live plants & Extras are shipped only from Monday to Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.
If there are out-of-stock items, the delay can be up to 2 weeks or longer, but rest assured, we will be in contact with you throughout the entire process to work on your order.
- How does delivery work? We use The Courier Guy for our deliveries; we carefully package your order and when your package is on the way we send a tracking code to your email and you can watch your package reach you.
- How much does a courier cost? Anything between R120.00 to R350.00+ per box, depending on your order and area.
- Where do you deliver? Anywhere in South Africa.
- What happens if I purchase something and it is out of stock? You have 3 options here. One, we substitute it with something else of the same value. Two, you get store credit for future purchases. Three, we refund straight into your bank account.
- How fast is delivery? If all your items are in stock, you can expect your order within 7-14 business days. If there are out-of-stock items the delay can be up to 2 weeks or longer, but rest assured we will be in contact with you throughout the entire process to work on your order.
- Do you guys do gift cards? Yes, contact us and we will create one for you.
- How do I know if my order is in stock? I highly suggest contacting us either via email or WhatsApp about particular items before making an order so we can alert you of stock. The item will also show in the shop if we have availability, or if it is out of stock.
